  1. I’d say government is fundamentally bad because it encourages people to do bad things and worse, facilitates them. Though most people think of government as good because it constrains us — unfortunately, it constrains our productivity while promoting our dark sides with subsidies, bailouts and political favoritism.

    Should it ever be possible for governmment to limit itself to protecting individual rights, something it has never done, I would jump for joy. But, I have lost all faith in government, politics and a corrupt legal system that rewards bad bahaviors and punishes good ones.
